It was a perfect storm of having quite a bit of wanderlust from living in Austin my whole life and also wanting to challenge myself in a new, physically demanding, highly technical, and rewarding industry.

My first job with Rope Partner. It was a spoiler removal job in PA. The teams were amazing, the work was brutal, we worked into the dark, and I had a blast. It was the best introduction to working with Rope Partner that I could have hoped for.

Bouldering in Squamish, BC for the first time was unforgettable. The place is spectacular with unimaginable beauty and the locals are all quite welcoming
Getting to run through the Volcanoes National Park on my off days in Hawaii was amazing. On my own time, I always enjoy spending a bit of the climbing season out at Hueco Tanks. This place will always be my home away from home. The desert has a special magic to it and the faces are always friendly and familiar.
